ACADEMY CORNER:  Reading is fundamental.  It’s not too late to begin your students on a summer reading program to strengthen and build on their learning abilities.
Is the Highland Park Christian Academy for you and your family?  Answer these questions.  Do you want your child in an environment that focuses on academic and social improvement, as well as spiritual development?  Are small class sizes important?  Is your child motivated by caring teachers and a rigorous, interactive curriculum?  Well, you have your answer!!!  Enrollment for the 2014-2015 school year is currently underway.
With blessings come responsibilities.  HPCA is one of only 300 schools worldwide to receive a robotics program known as the Youth Touch Technology Integration System.  But, the nearly $20,000 grant from the Goldenrod Research Corporation requires the academy to provide a $10,000 match.  Contributions totaling $5,000 more is needed.  The academy welcomes donations of any amount: $1, $5, $10, $20, $1,000.  For further information, call the Academy Office at 301-773-4079.
